Today, 13. 03. 2013 is sad day for our family. We lost our beautiful dog - Deni.

Dear Deni - I hope that now YOU at better place. We`ll always keep the sweet memories about YOU. - Dmytro, Irina, Olexandr.

June 2005 - 13 Mar 2013

Then I had my vacation in  2005 and arrived home from Denmark i had a very special surprize. My family addopted puppy from the street and I was really happy to have a new 4 paw friend in my house. 

My uncle Evgen, was working in industrial area of our town -Melitopol. And once he called to my parents  and asked if they want to adopt a newborn puppy. They went to see and choosed Deni among of his 6 brothers and sisters. It was a really happy day for Deni, because next night all other puppies were killed by wild fox.

Dani was already second dog in our family. Our doberman Tomas was his senior friend and teacher. For years they lived together as really good friends. They loved a lot play together in our big garden in summer and in cold days they were sleeping close to each other to keep warm.

We always tried to play with both of them and loved them equaly. In summer they lived together and in winter time we had to take Thomas inside the house (because dobermans are not prepared for our winter good enough).

Deni grow up very fast and become really good guard for our house. Not a single burglar had a chance to cross the territory protected by Deni. And togeher with Tomas they were really great team!

But time is something that we are unable to stop. Unfortunately 28 oct 2007
 his friend Tomas died. It was really hard time for our family too, since they both were par of our family.

In Feb 2008  we adopted another puppy from the street - Boni. Now Deni had to take care about a little puppy and he has done a really great job. They played together and protected our house from all unwanted visitors (especially cats and postmans) :-) 

Since 2011 he was not as playful as usual because of his age (compared to be 55 human years). But, he never give up sometimes to play with Boni in the garden. And he kept his favourite tradition - to stand up on the window next to the entrance door asking me to play with him and pat his head. (I was unable to get into the house without it :-))

Untill last days days Deni, was not only our guard, but also member of our family. He did`t like a lot then i was trying to take pictures of him (probably he didn`t like the flash), that is why we had not a lot of his photos in our family archive. But we still have really priceless momories...

5 Days ago we noticed the change in his behavir. We consulted with a vet and gave him prescribed medicine. But 2 days ago he refused to eat anything. It was getting worse and told to us the we unable to help...

Today, 13.03.2013 we had to take this hard deceision and ask vet doctor to stop his pain. Let the soil will be down for him. Deni is not with us any more but he will remain in our loving hearts forever!

I`m tryly believe that Deni now in the better place together with Tomas. The heaven for our little 4 paw friends.

HEAVEN'S DOGGY-DOOR

My best friend closed his eyes lastnight, As his head was in my hand.The Doctors said he was in pain,And it was hard for him to stand.

The thoughts that scurried throughmy head, As I cradled him in my arms.Were of his younger, puppy years,And OH...his many charms.

Today, there was no gentle nudgeWith an intense "I love you gaze",Only a heart thats filled with tearsRemembering our joy filled days.

But an Angel just appeared to me,And he said, "You should cry no more,GOD also loves our canine friends,HE's installed a 'doggy-door"!
