Lukas is a Swedish and Norwegian name, much as it is Danish. It is also German, and Icelandic.
It is a boys name, and to be honest, I wouldn't really advice you to call a girl 'Lukas', maybe 'Lucie', or something along those lines.
It isn't pronounced any different to 'Lucas', but this is the way most Nordic people spell it.
'Luka' or 'Luca' are shortened versions of it.
