Denmark is the smallest nation to ever survive more than 5 years in a row in the best icehockey world championship group.

Denmark won the European Championship in 1992. Claiming participation due to Yugoslavia being disqualified because of the war on Balkan.

Denmark have one of the best handball leagues for women.
Also, they have one of the best national teams as well for men and for women.
